Evolutionens Museum tilbyder en unik, multisensorisk oplevelse med lys, lyde og dufte, der bringer den forhistoriske verden til live på en helt ny og moderne måde. Beliggende inden for Knuthenborg Safaripark, forbinder museet historien om de store dyrs historie i en levende og medrivende fortælling fra for 300 millioner år siden og op til nutiden. Museet støtter aktivt videnskabelig forskning og huser ægte skeletter af mange udsøgte fossiler fra perm, jura, kridt og neogen perioderne. I øjeblikket er Evolutionens Museum engageret i videnskabelig forskning, med prøver der studeres af forskere fra hele verden.

New, Giant Horned Dinosaur Discovered in the Ancient Swamps of Montana

A remarkable new species of horned, plant-eating dinosaur is being unveiled at the Natural History Museum of Utah. The dinosaur, excavated from the badlands of northern Montana just a few miles from the USA-Canada border, is among the largest and most ornate ever found, with two huge blade-like horns on the back of its frill.

The distinctive horn pattern inspired its name, Lokiceratops rangiformis, meaning “Loki’s horned face that looks like a caribou.” The new species was announced in the scientific journal PeerJ.
