T. rex Trinity
Pop Culture Icon. Scientific Marvel.

On display from May 22, 2025 – only at the Museum of Evolution, Knuthenborg Safari Park
In 2025 only, come face to face with a legend.
In 2025, something truly extraordinary is happening on Lolland:
For only the second time in Danish history, you can stand face to face with a real Tyrannosaurus rex – and this time, it’s Trinity.
Measuring 11.6 meters in length and 4.4 meters in height, Trinity is one of the most complete and best-preserved T. rex fossils ever displayed in Europe.
This is not a replica. Not a movie prop. This is real history – with teeth to prove it.
Pop Culture Meets Cutting-Edge Science
Trinity is a fossil like no other. The skeleton is made up of bones from three different T. rex individuals – a real-life “hybrid,” just like in the Jurassic World franchise… but 100% authentic.
The skull, from a single T. rex, is so exceptionally well-preserved that scientists can study her brain cavity, senses, and jaw strength in stunning detail. Ongoing research is led by renowned paleontologist Professor Dr. Nizar Ibrahim and his international team.
Real bones. Real bite. Real history.
- Teeth up to 30 cm long – the size of bananas
- Could swallow 100 kg of meat in one bite
- Strongest bite force ever recorded on land
- Lived 67 million years ago – and still rules the world’s imagination
A Royal Guest Among Legends
Trinity joins our growing family of fossil giants at the Museum of Evolution—each one telling the story of life’s incredible journey:
Triceratops – The iconic three-horned herbivore
Stegosaurus – With spiked tail and dramatic back plates
Camarasaurus – One of the most complete long-necked dinosaurs ever found
Archaeopteryx – The feathered link between dinosaurs and birds
Trinity is on special loan from The Phoebus Foundation and will be part of the Museum of Evolution’s world-class fossil collection throughout the 2025 season. With only four T. rex fossils on display in Europe, this is a must-see experience for all ages.
